trip to talakona
Talakona Waterfall,It is a resort well endowed with waterfalls, dense forests and wildlife. Mostly famous for its waterfalls, Talakona has the most wholesome and serene atmosphere. Myself, and our friends(8 of us) just had a great weekend trip to remember. We went for a 3 day trip to Thirumala and Talakona Jungle and Waterfalls (located ~80 km from Tirupati) ,We started on Friday evening from Chennai taking bus which started at 7:30 PM and we reached Tirupati at 12:30 AM, from there we went 2 our frds house. We started 2 thirumala(BY walk) at 05:00 AM, We reached thirumala at 11:30 AM,we have a lot of fun in thirumala. Finaly we reached Talakona in bikes. We quickly freshed-up and headed to the jungle where there was a small waterfalls. Not a waterfalls actually, but was a good, had lunch at a small village style hotel, left for the main waterfalls. It was a long walk from there but the fun after reaching the waterfalls was 10 times worth the walk. By the time we started back from the waterfalls, every moment was captured on camera. It was almost dark. We had dinner at tirupati.Next day, in the early hours, we started to chennai.
Norwegian sunrise
The sun rises as we fly over some of the most spectacular mountain peaks in the Sunnmøre region in western Norway.
Biking, India style.
The guy in the picture is one of the many porters who crowd the bus stops or railways stations in India. One strong guy I should say, the bike weighs in excess of 150 Kgs(330lbs). The irony is that for all the hardwork he would probably get less than 100/- for this. Sure you wont see this in the US. Definitely not so cheap. No wonder everything is being outsourced.
